Gearing Up

Things will be a bit different this year.  PPC has invited a few players from Grantham and SUMC to play with us so that PPC could remain as a team.  I feel confident we will have a solid team with good field coverage.  The League met last week and we will have 7 Teams with the same two fields as last year.

Contact Info: Please forward me any new or missing contact info so I can update our list.  If you changed your Cell # or Carrier, please let me know as I use SMS texting to provide cancellations of games or if important immediate information is to be made known.  I do not make individual calls or texts to your cell phones, so be sure to reply back with your cell # and carrier (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.).

Player Fee: Will be $35 no matter your ability to make each game, otherwise you can choose to be a Bench Player ($0), where you’ll be called as needed.  Paying players will have priority of playing time so getting your Player Fee in will be considered at game time.  This needs to be submitted to me by April 29^th.  Checks are to be made out to me (Russell Denning) and can be hand delivered or mailed to me at 2353 Brandywine LN, York, PA 17404.  You can also bring cash to the first game (4/29), but you will need to remember!

Uniform: There is no uniform standard, so wear whatever is conducive to playing softball, without bringing unnecessary attention.

Practice: As of right now, we do not have anything lined up for practices, so prepare on your own and we’ll hit the field soon enough.

Schedule: Our first games will begin on 4/29 (Mon).  We will not have the game schedule until around the 3^rd week of April, but you will need to let me know ASAP to any Mondays, Tuesday or Thursdays that don’t work for you through July.
